ENTRANCE UPDATE on CASCADA

Everything is moving along as we have hoped for the development of Unit 1 and the construction of the main entrance to Cascada. The two 70’ curved monument walls are built and currently being faced with the unique cave stone mix that we secured from a local quarry. The masons are now starting on the courtyard walls that will surround the guardhouse. They will start construction on the two 18’ towers shortly as well. The road contractor is also expediting the installation of the curbs and gutters at the entrance to enable us to commence construction on the 26’ tall guardhouse and entrance gates.”

Our road widening project on FM 306 is paved and will be striped for the new lanes within a couple of weeks. All that is left is pouring the concrete drainage channels on either side of FM 306 and then these new lanes will be open to the public entering or leaving Cascada – this provides for a safe and efficient traffic flow even before we have our internal streets paved.

Speaking of internal streets, most of the road base will be at finish grade in about two weeks. We expect to pave the streets in early December or early January depending on weather.
